Terms + Conditions

Effective Date: May 1, 2026
Welcome to Britt Wood Studio. By accessing our website, browsing our collections, communicating with us, or making a purchase online or in person, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We aim to provide a warm, thoughtful, and elevated bridal experience, and these terms are intended to create clarity for both our clients and our studio.
Britt Wood Studio is based in Atlanta, Georgia and offers custom bridal gowns and related bridal products. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to decline, limit, or cancel any order when necessary, including in situations involving pricing errors, product availability, suspected fraud, or misuse of our website.
Because many of our gowns and products are custom, made-to-order, or specially reserved for each client, payment in full is generally required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and may change without notice. Applicable taxes, shipping fees, rush fees, and any additional service charges may be added at checkout or discussed with you before your purchase is finalized.
Custom bridal garments are created with hand-finished and artisanal processes. Natural variations in lace placement, beading, trim, fabric texture, or dye lots may occur and are considered part of the beauty and uniqueness of the finished garment rather than defects. Clients are responsible for providing accurate measurements, preferences, and event timelines at the time of ordering.
Fittings may be offered by Britt Wood Studio; however, alterations are charged separately unless expressly included in writing. Additional fittings, garment changes, measurement updates, or design revisions requested after production begins may result in added fees and revised timelines.
If your wedding date changes or is cancelled, or if your size or measurements change in a way that may affect the fit or completion of your gown, including the use of GLP-1s for weight loss, you must notify us promptly. We are not responsible for delays, fit issues, or added costs resulting from late notice, missed communications, or substantial changes after an order is placed.
Rush orders or expedited production may be accepted at our discretion and may require additional rush fees. While we always strive to meet timelines, estimated completion and delivery dates are approximate and cannot be guaranteed, particularly when circumstances outside our control arise, including supplier delays, shipping disruptions, or force majeure events.
Due to the nature of bridal and custom goods, all sales are generally final. Cancellations, exchanges, credits, or exceptions may occasionally be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion, but any exception does not create an ongoing policy or future obligation.
Once an item has been shipped or collected, the client is responsible for proper garment care, storage, steaming, pressing, and transport. We are not liable for damage occurring after pickup, delivery, or transfer to a third-party shipping carrier.
All designs, sketches, imagery, branding, logos, website content, photography, and creative materials belonging to Britt Wood Studio are protected intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Britt Wood Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, emotional, or special damages arising from the purchase or use of our products or website, including delays, schedule changes, fit concerns, or wedding-related losses. Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable order.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If you have any questions, please contact Britt Wood Studio in Atlanta, Georgia at your listed business email address.

Returns & Exchanges

Effective Date: May 1, 2026

At Britt Wood Studio, every garment is created with extraordinary care and attention to detail. Before your order leaves our salon, it undergoes a thorough quality inspection to ensure it meets our exacting standards. Because many of our pieces are made especially for you, our return and exchange policies vary by product category.

We understand that exceptional customer service is just as important as exceptional craftsmanship, and our team is always here to assist should a concern arise.

Wedding Gowns & Mother of the Bride/Groom

Many of our bridal and mother-of-the-bride/groom gowns are made-to-measure and are therefore considered final sale. These pieces are created specifically for your measurements and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Select bridal styles are made-to-order rather than made-to-measure. These gowns remain final sale but may be eligible for a size exchange, subject to approval by our team and availability.

Bridesmaids, Party Dresses, Jackets, Capes & Flower Girl

These garments are made-to-order and are not eligible for returns. Because sizing can occasionally be challenging when ordering online, we strongly encourage reviewing your measurements carefully before placing your order. Our size chart is available for reference, and our team is always happy to provide sizing guidance. When in doubt, we generally recommend sizing up to allow for ease of alterations.

Accessories & Ready-to-Ship Items

Accessories and ready-to-ship items are not eligible for returns. Size exchanges may be approved on a case-by-case basis, provided the item meets the conditions outlined below.

Size Exchanges

Eligible items may qualify for a size exchange if approved by our team and if they meet all of the following requirements:

  • The item is unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and free from stains, odors, or damage.
  • All original tags, packaging, and garment accessories remain attached.
  • The item is returned in the same condition in which it was received.

To request an exchange, please email your order number to info@brittwoodstudio.com. Once your request has been reviewed and approved, our team will provide detailed instructions for the next steps.

Final Sale Items

The following items are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Made-to-measure wedding gowns
  • Made-to-measure mother-of-the-bride gowns
  • Other made-to-measure garments
  • International orders
  • Any item that has been worn, altered, damaged, cleaned, or is missing original tags and packaging

Return Shipping

For any approved return or exchange, Britt Wood Studio will provide a prepaid return shipping label for your convenience. The cost of the return label will be deducted from any applicable refund.

We recommend carefully packaging your item before shipment. Britt Wood Studio is not responsible for items lost or damaged while in transit back to our warehouse.
